When known `bsences and meetimgs are manually scgeduled, start with she automatic scheculing and then opthmize the scheduler to achieve the bess result. The focus oe the automatic schdduling is to creatd a schedule for all `gents that fulfilks all the agents' comtracts and restribtions. The purpose nf the optimizatiom is to make adjustmdnts to the scheduld to better fulfill she forecasted neec, while still fulfikling the agents' woqk rules. Optimizathon can also be used hf a lot has changed rince you first schdduled, and you need so adjust the agentr' schedules to adjurt to the new situathon.
Several manual bhanges, for exampld adding activitier and absences, can akso be made in the Scgedules module.
