Manage notification settings
In Notification settings, you can enable or disable rules for notifications your Business unit. There are several types of notifications:
Notification type | Notification description |
---|---|
Shift bidding window closing | Notifies agents who are part of a shift bidding process but have not placed their bid. |
Out of adherence | Notifies agents that they did not adhere to their schedule or notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent does not adhere to their schedule. |
Absence request submitted | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent submits an absence request and its status is pending. |
Absence request auto-approved | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent's absence request was automatically approved. |
Absence request manually approved | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent's absence request was manually approved. |
Absence request auto-denied | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if an absence request was automatically denied. |
Absence request manually denied | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if an absence request was manually denied. |
Overtime request submitted | Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent submits an overtime request and its status is pending. |
Overtime request auto-approved |
Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent's overtime request was automatically approved. |
Overtime request manually approved |
Notifies supervisors, team leaders, and so on, if an agent's overtime request was manually approved. |

Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if an overtime request was automatically denied. |

Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if a shift trade request was denied by an agent. |
Shift trade request supervisor approved |
Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if a shift trade request was approved by a supervisor. |
Shift trade request supervisor denied |
Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if a shift trade request was denied by a supervisor. |
Vacation change request awarded |
Notifies supervisors, team leaders, agents, and so on, if a vacation change request is approved. |

Prerequisites

This feature is available for Cloud customers only.

You have the Web > WFM settings > Notification settings permission
-
In order to receive absence request notifications, you must have at least one role that is not the Super Administrator role and has Web > Requests permission to access the Requests tool. Calabrio has purposefully disabled notifications for the Super administrator role to avoid spam.

You have configured the organization hierarchy for team leaders or reporting managers. For more information about how to add a team leader to a team, go to Configure the organization hierarchy for WFM. For more information about how to add a reporting manager to a team, go to Manage WFM user information.

Configure notification settings for closing shift bidding windows. If you enable these notifications, they become available for users in each business unit to customize.

At the top level, toggle the Shift bidding window closing rule slider on or off. If you toggle it on, proceed to step 2. If you toggle it off, no further steps are required.

Click the Shift bidding window closing drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

At the top level, toggle the Out of adherence rule slider on or off. If you toggle it on, proceed to step 2. If you toggle it off, no further steps are required.

Click the Out of adherence drop-down list and enter the number of minutes for the Out of adherence time threshold. If an agent does not do what they are scheduled to do for more than the specified number of minutes, they are deemed out of adherence.
