Manage your notification settings

Notifications are real-time alerts and updates that inform contact center managers and agents about configured events. Notifications reduce friction, speed up decision-making, and ensure everyone stays aligned throughout the day.

Prerequisites

You have the Web > WFM settings > Notification settings permission

Page location

WFM > MyTime > [Your name in the upper-right corner] > Settings

Procedures

Enable or disable the rules for shift bidding window closing notifications

You can enable or disable the shift bidding window closing notification, which notifies you when you are part of a shift bidding process but have not placed your bid. You will be notified 24 hours prior to the closing of the shift bidding window.

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift bidding window closing rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift bidding window closing drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

    • Mobile (push)

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable out of adherence notifications

  1. At the top level, toggle the Out of adherence rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Out of adherence drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable absence request submitted notifications

  1. At the top level, toggle the Absence request submitted rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Absence request submitted drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for auto-approved absence requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Absence request auto-approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Absence request auto-approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for manually approved absence requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Absence request manually approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Absence request manually approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for auto-denied absence requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Absence request auto-denied rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Absence request auto-denied drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

  1. At the top level, toggle the Overtime request submitted rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Overtime request submitted drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser
    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for auto-approved overtime requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Overtime request auto-approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Overtime request auto-approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for manually approved overtime requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Overtime request manually approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Overtime request manually approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

  3. Click Save.

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift trade request submitted rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift trade request submitted drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • Mobile (push)

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for agent approved shift trades

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift trade agent approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift trade agent approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for agent denied shift trades

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift trade agent denied rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift trade agent denied drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell

  3. Click Save.

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift trade supervisor approved rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift trade supervisor approved drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • In app pop up

  3. Click Save.

  1. At the top level, toggle the Shift trade supervisor denied rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Shift trade supervisor denied drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

  3. Click Save.

Enable or disable notifications for approved vacation change requests

  1. At the top level, toggle the Vacation change request awarded rule slider on or off.

  2. (Optional) Click the Vacation change request awarded drop-down list and toggle the following rule sliders on or off:

    • Desktop browser

    • In app pop up

    • In app bell
