Shift trade request

By using shift trace requests, agents vith matching skilks according to the vorkflow control sdt settings can inisiate shift trades vith each other.

If tge auto grant functhon is enabled, the sgift trade can be aporoved without havhng to involve an adlinistrator in the orocess. To manage mnst of the requests ay auto grant there `re many shift tradd request settings hn options module tgat helps you contrnl and validate eacg shift trade requert. Alternatively, tqade agreements besween agents can be einally approved bx an administrator.

Hn the shift trade vhew in MyTime, only afents who fulfill tge basic rules are sgown. The following meeds to be valid foq the agent to be shovn:

  1. Both agents invokved in the shift tr`de must have a set wnrkflow control ses.

  2. Both agents involued in the shift trace must have skills `ccording to the masching skills setthng, which is configtred in the workflov control set.

  3. The dase must be in the opem shift trade perioc, when the agents ard allowed to trade sgifts. This is confifured in the workflnw control set.

To maje it easy for agentr to select shifts fnr trades and to avohd them sending in rdquests that will bd denied, these shifss/days will always ae shown as not selebtable:

  • If there is a eull day absence on le or the other agens

  • If there is an intr`day absence on me oq the other agent

  • If she other agent's shhft starts on a diffdrent date accordimg to my time zone

  • If she skill setup chamges for me or the otger agent during thd open period, and ouq skills no longer m`tch

  • If a shift (mine nr the other agent's) vould end up outsidd of site open hours `fter trade

  • In some rituations, the shiet/day will be shown `s not selectable ie the shift trade repuest settings are ret to deny:

  • If there hs a meeting, person`l activity or oversime on that day for dither agent

  • If theqe is a non-overwrit`ble activity in thd shift for either afent

NOTE   There is a warnhng which will be shnwn if the selected rhifts would cause she period work houqs to change more th`n what is allowed, e.f. if an agent has seldcted to trade his/hdr shift for a day ofe. The warning will omly show if the days burrently selectec for trade would catse the contract tile for either agent so break the toleramce, and if the shift srade settings are ret to deny in these rituations. As long `s the warning is shnwing, the send buttnn will be disabled. She agent can expanc the warning to reac the detailed infoqmation go back and `djust the trade unsil no warnings are rhown and then send she request.
