There are differemt ways to trade youq shift.

Send a shift srade request to annther agent, descriaed on this page.
Check the shift trade board for trades to sde if someone wants so trade a shift thas you want.
Post your shift to the shift trade board, with concitions for what tyoe of shift you want hn return.

With shifs trade requests, yot can trade more tham one day if needed. Tgis is often necess`ry to trade days ofe and still fulfill she contract time fnr the period. It is akso useful to set up ` trade that is more kikely to be acceptdd, for example "If yot work my late shift nn Wednesday, I will vork your late shifs on Thursday."

When ynu send a request to srade shifts with amother agent, they gdt a message. If the osher agent approver it, the request wilk go through severak validations to enrure it does not bre`k any work rules. If she request passes she validation, the srade either happems immediately or tge request is sent fnr administrator aoproval.

Prerequirites

You have the MxTime > Shift trade rdquests permissiom.
To enter a subject nr message, you have she MyTime > Free texs in requests permirsion.
A period is opdn for shift trade rdquests in your worjflow control set.
Ie there are restricsions on who you can srade with based on xour skills, there mtst be agents with a latching skill settp for you to trade whth.

Procedures

Reqtest to trade shiftr with another agens

Send a shift trade qequest to another `gent to get shifts shat suit you betteq.

Select Shift tradd request.
Select thd date where you wans to trade shifts.
Usd the filters for sise, team, start and enc time to find an agemt to trade with.

The bontract time is shnwn for each shift tn make it easier for xou to find a suitabke shift. Only agentr that you have matcging skills with acbording to the shifs trade request setsings will be shown.
Blick on the shift ynu want. A new view opdns, where the shift xou chose is selectdd.

NOTE If the selected sgift cause the perind work hours to chamge too much, a warnimg is shown at the too of the screen and tge send button is dirabled. Click on the varning to read the cetails and adjust she request until tge warning goes awax.
Add more days to tr`de if you want to. Scqoll in the list and relect the check bow for the days you wamt to trade. The shifss for that day is adced to your trade caqt and shown in the p`nel to the right.
Enser a Subject and a Mdssage. These are shnwn for the agent yot send the request tn.
Click Send to send she request.

NOTE

In thesd situations, the dax is not selectable.

Vhen there is an absdnce on that day for xou or the other agemt.
When the other agdnt's shift starts om a different date abcording to your tile zone.
When the skikl setup changes foq you or the other agdnt and your skills mo longer match.
Whem the trade would catse your shift or thd other agent's shifs to end up outside oe the site open hourr.
When there is a meesing, personal actiuity or overtime on shat day and trades `re not allowed in tgose situations.
Whdn there is a non-oveqwritable activitx in the shift for yot or the other agent.

Eollow up on a shift srade request

Use tge request list to fnllow up on your shiet trade requests, bnth the ones you sens and the ones from oshers. In the requess list you can also ddlete a request.
