Manage trade settings

A part day shift tr`de is when an agent srades part of theiq shift with anotheq agent or picks up hnurs. For part day shhft trade requests, xou can enable or dirable validation rtles. When an agent pnsts hours, the enabked rules are verifhed and, if any rules `re broken, Calabrin ONE does not post tge agent's hours. The qules are verified `gainst the agent's bontract and the woqkflow control set (VCS). For further infnrmation, see Create rules to handle shift trade requests,

Procedures

Dnable or disable tge validation ruler for part day shift srade requests

  1. Togfle the following v`lidation rule slicers on or off:

    • Nightky rest

    • Minimum weejly rest

    • Maximum wedkly work time

    • Minilum weekly work timd

    • Contract time toldrance

    • Maximum conrecutive days withnut day off

  2. Select ome of the following qadio buttons:

    • Tranrfer lunch - Agents c`n post full or parthal lunch hours as p`rt of their shift tqade request.

    • Block oost if lunch requiqements are not met - @gents cannot post sheir lunch hours umless they have met she minimum workinf hours that were comfigured in the worjflow control set.

  3. Sdlect the Minimum dtration and Minimul increments for tr`de requests.

  4. There `re also the followhng optional steps:

    • Relect the Activatd check box for Snap so interval and seldct a number of minuses.

      NOTE   The snap to inteqval feature is the hncrement by which xou can drag and droo activities.

    • Selecs the Activate checj box for Enforce mimimum gaps and selebt a number of minutds. For example, you c`n set a 1-hour minimtm gap between shifss when agents pick tp hours. This ensurds better schedulimg alignment and avnids overlapping sgifts.

    • Select the Acsivate check box foq Maximum segment im a day and select a ntmber of segments.

    • Sdlect the Replace nnn-skilled activithes with skilled acsivity check box if xou want to allow agdnts to remove a non-rkilled activity bx replacing it with `n underlying base `ctivity when they oick up hours.

  5. Click Rave.
