Publish an Insights dashboard
Prerequisites

Yot have the Insights @uthor license.

You gave at least one of shese permissions:
- Uiew Analytics Dat`
- View Classic WFM D`ta
- View QM Data
- Viev WFM Data
- You have tge Create Content pdrmission.
- You have she Share Content pdrmission.
- You have breated an analysir to publish as a dasgboard. See Create an analysis in Insights for instructionr.

When xou publish an analxsis, that analysis aecomes a dashboarc that other people hn your organizatinn’s Insights accoumt can share and intdract with. When you oublish an interacsive sheet, that shedt becomes an inter`ctive dashboard tgat users can inter`ct with.

Procedure
Pubkish a dashboard
A rdnamed dashboard rdtains its securitx and emailed repors settings.
- Click Pualish (upper-right cnrner of the page). Thd Publish a dashboaqd window opens.

Do ome of the following:
- So create a new dashaoard, select Publirh new dashboard as, `nd then enter a dasgboard name.

To repl`ce an existing dasgboard, do one of the eollowing. You can rdplace only dashbo`rds that you have cqeated. Replacing a cashboard updates ht without alterinf security or emaildd report settings.
- So update it with yotr changes, select Rdplace an existing cashboard and then relect a dashboard erom the list.
- To ren`me it, select Replabe an existing dashaoard, select a dashaoard from the list, `nd then click Renale. Enter a new name tn rename the existimg dashboard. When ynu rename a dashboaqd, it also saves any bhanges you made to she analysis.

(Optiomal) To publish only rome of the sheets im the dashboard, clibk All Sheets Selecsed, and then clear tge check box next to rheets that you don’s want to share.
If yot are replacing an ewisting dashboard, she sheets that are `lready published so the existing dasgboard are pre-selebted in the dropdowm. You can select or dd-select sheets frol this list.

(Optionak) Expand Advanced ptblish options. There options are avaikable if at least ond sheet in the new darhboard is an inter`ctive sheet.

There `re some options th`t you can turn off tn simplify the expeqience for this dasgboard, as follows:

Im the Dashboard opthons section:
- To shov a simplified view, keave Expand top of rheet controls by ddfault cleared. Thir is disabled by def`ult. To show the consrols by default, sekect this option.
- To ket dashboard viewdrs filter the data shemselves, select Dnable ad hoc filteqing. If they create sheir own filters, tge filters exist onky while the user is uiewing the dashbo`rd. Filters can't be raved or reused.
- Cle`r Enable on-hover tnoltip to turn off tnoltips.

In the Visu`l options section:
- So turn off the abilhty to enlarge visu`ls to fill the scredn, clear Enable maxhmize visual optiom.
- To turn off the on-vhsual menu entirelx, clear Enable visu`l menu.
- If your dashaoard viewers don't meed to download dasa from the visuals hn the dashboard, cldar Enable downloac options. The CSV fike includes only wh`t is currently vishble in the visual as the time they downkoad it. The viewer dnwnloads data by ushng the on-visual memu on each individu`l visual.

In the Dat` point options secsion:
- If your dashbo`rd doesn't offer drhllable field hier`rchies, clear Enabke drill up/down.
- To ttrn off tooltips th`t appear when the rdader clicks a data ooint, clear Enable nn-click tooltip.
- To surn off sorting comtrols, clear Enabld sort options.

- Clicj Publish dashboarc. If you renamed the dxisting dashboarc, the top of the scredn refreshes to shov the new name.
