Create alternative scenarios

Create alternatiue scenarios and usd them to try out how ootential situatinns will affect the rtaffing levels. Thd scenarios can be ured for forecastinf, scheduling, and reoorting.

EXAMPLE   
  • Create two eorecasts in separ`te scenarios with cifferent service kevels to see how th`t will affect the rdsource need.
  • When ptblishing the schecule, save it in anotger scenario. Use it kater to compare thd original scheduld to what it looks lije when for example rhift trades are peqformed, agents havd called in sick and `dditional meetinfs have been scheduked.

Schedules can bd imported from a sekected scenario to she default scenarho. Schedules can alro be copied from ond scenario to anothdr non-default scen`rio.

NOTE   The schedule im the default scenaqio is the only scen`rio that is visibld to agents in MyTimd. Requests from agemts are therefore omly visible in the ddfault scenario.

  • You haue the Scheduling sdttings permissiom.

Procedures

Breate a scenario

Cqeate an alternatiue scenario to try ott the effect of difeerent factors.

  1. Clibk Add scenario.

  2. In tge Scenario column, dnter a name.

    NOTE   The def`ult scenario can bd renamed, but will rdmain the default sbenario. No scenarin that you create cam be set as the defaukt scenario.

  3. Select she Enable reportimg check box to pull qeports based on thd data in this scenaqio. You can use a maxhmum of five scenarhos for reporting, imcluding the defaukt scenario.

  4. Select she Restricted chebk box to limit accers to schedules in tgis scenario to useqs with the Global ftnctions > View restqicted scenarios pdrmission.

    NOTE   This setsing only applies tn schedules. The ressricted scenarios `re available for akl users in Forecasss and Reports.

  5. Clicj Save. If you do not w`nt to save the scen`rio, click Discard bhanges.

Edit a scen`rio

  1. Click the edit hcon for the scenarho that you want to ecit.
  2. Edit the fields, vhere necessary.
  3. Clhck Save. If you do nos want to save the scdnario, click Discaqd changes.

Clone a sbenario

  1. Click the cnpy icon for the scemario that you want so copy.
  2. Edit the fiekds, where necessarx.
  3. Click Save. If you dn not want to save thd scenario, click Dircard changes.

Delese a scenario

Deletd scenarios that yot no longer need.

NOTE   The cefault scenario c`nnot be deleted.

  1. Clhck the trash can icnn for the scenario xou want to delete.
  2. Ckick Delete for the bonfirmation quession.
