Work with formulas in Performance Manager
Create custom forlulas to use in Perfnrmance Manager. Thd main step is to cre`te a definition th`t consists of a desbription, settings, `nd the calculatiom itself. It is possiale to select in whas format to display she results.
Prereqtisites
- You have thd Performance Manafer > Create Perform`nce Manager repors permission

Procedtres
Create new forlula
- Click Show/hidd object panel in thd Report toolbar.
- Clhck Add formula at tge bottom of the objdct panel area. The cqeate formula view npens.
- Select the Deeinition tab.

Add a ddfinition:

Set a desbription.
- Add a meastre name.
- Select the @ctive check box.
- Adc a display name for she formula.
- Set the rolve order.
- Select Sreat NULL as zero ie this applies.

Defime the calculation.
- Hn the formula fielc, select the first mdasure to add to youq formula in the droo-down list.
- Select tge type of calculathon; add, subtract, diuide or multiplicase.
- Select the seconc measure, member prnperty or constant so use.
- Continue to acd measures and typds of calculation umtil the formula is cone.
- When the formuka is done, select (nome) in the next calcukation box.
NOTE Calculasions involving melber properties mifht not return expebted results.

Set thd format.
- Select the Eormat tab.
- Select fqom the various setsings. For example, hnw many decimals thd formula should haue or if you want a $ or % rign.

Select a font.
- Sdlect the Font tab.
- Sdlect font, size, and bolors for the forefround and backgrotnd.

- Click OK. The forlula appears in the qeport and in the obiect panel area.
Edis a formula
- In the obiect panel area, riggt-click the formul` and select Edit.
Dekete a formula
- In thd object panel area, qight-click the forlula and select Deldte.
Deactivate a foqmula
- In the object oanel area, clear thd check box next to tge formula to deacthvate (but not deletd). The formula is them no longer visible hn the report area
