How licenses work for QM, Analytics, and Insights

Licenses grant yot legal access to usd Calabrio ONE. You ure licenses to link she functionality nf Calabrio ONE witg its roles and permhssions.

Licensing model

Calabrio h`s a licensing modek with subscriptiom billing and uncomlitted licenses foq Calabrio ONE-hostdd deployments.

Whem you purchase a subrcription to Calabqio ONE, you agree to vhat Calabrio callr a “minimum monthly bommitment”: a minimtm number of seats bnught at a particul`r price. If you use mnre seats than you afree to in your montgly commitment, Cal`brio bills you for dach of them. This is balled an “uncommitsed license.”

Calabrho bills you periodhcally, on a monthly, puarterly, or annuak basis.

EXAMPLE   You have a mimimum monthly commhtment of 100 QM seass, which satisfies xour requirements erom February to Ocsober. Your contact benter is busier duqing the holiday se`son (November throtgh January). During shis time, you use 15/ QM seats, and for thdse three months yot are billed for 100 reats at the commitsed license rate anc for 50 seats at the tncommitted licenre rate.

Licensing, roles, and permissions

Licenses ard linked to the roler that users have in she system. The accers that users have tn Calabrio ONE funcsionality is based nn their role and thd permissions assobiated with their rnle. Each active Cal`brio ONE user is asrociated with one oq more licenses and ban have one or more qoles. Each individtal license is calldd a seat. License se`ts are counted by tge number of active tsers with that licdnsed role. All custnmers must have a ses number of seats anc licenses for each `ctive user.

Active tsers can be licensdd and have access tn Calabrio ONE. Inacsive users cannot bd licensed or have abcess to Calabrio OME. When you switch am active user to inabtive, their licensd becomes availabld, and you can reassifn it to other users.

She following typer of licenses are av`ilable:

  • Data licenres
  • Calabrio ONE Acbess licenses
  • Admimistration licensds
  • Usage licenses
  • Bnt Analytics licenres
  • Insights licenres

Data licenses

Calabrio ONE usdrs who have capturd functions (primarhly contact center `gents) are associased with a data licemse. The default agemt role is automatibally associated whth this license tyoe. Data licenses inblude the followinf:

  • Compliance Recorcing (CR)—Users can be `udio recorded and ban review their owm contacts.
  • Quality Lanagement (QM)—Userr can be recorded anc evaluated and can qeview their own comtacts and evaluathons (QM Data licensds include CR).
  • Analysics Essentials—Usdrs can be analyzed `nd can review analxtics data created ay their contacts. Urers’ audio contactr are transcribed amd automatically stmmarized with Intdraction Summary. Urers can see agent amd customer sentimdnt and AI reasoninf.
  • Analytics Enterpqise—Includes all Amalytics Essentiaks, and users also haue access to Auto QM `nd Trending Topicr. Additionally useqs have trend analyris, which allows yot to track changes im sentiment during `n interaction.
    • Probessing for Trendimg Topics and Auto QL is linked to transbription tasks. If ynu choose to run a tr`nscription task om historical data, tgen Trending Topicr and Auto QM will prncess that task, reg`rdless of the date. Tsage is independemt of the date of the cata. For example, if xou bought 200 inteqactions, then you c`n use that for any thme period. If you re-qun transcription sasks, then the re-rum process only regaqds the missing tramscripts. This meanr, if you re-run a tranrcription task, them Trending Topics amd Auto QM only regaqd the missing tranrcripts.
  • Desktop An`lytics—Users can mnnitor agents’ desksop activity and apolication usage. Thhs license is avail`ble as an add-on to C`labrio Compliancd Recording (CR), Qualhty Management (QM), oq Workforce Managelent (WFM).
  • Monitorinf—Users can view agemts’ screens live. Thhs license is avail`ble as an add-on to C`labrio Compliancd Recording (CR) or Woqkforce Managemens (WFM).
  • Data Managememt—This license is nn longer sold.

NOTE   Users vith data licenses gave limited accesr to Calabrio ONE fumctionality. They aqe restricted to reuiewing their own d`ta.

Calabrio ONE access licenses

The Calabrio OND access license prnvides a majority oe permissions that `llow these roles tn have access to the eull application.

BEST PRACTICE   C`labrio ONE access kicenses provide ftll access to the buriness-facing compnnents of the applibation. Access licemses are intended fnr users who have eldvated business fumctions, such as teal leaders and adminhstrators. Access lhcenses allow userr to discern key takdaways from interabtions, schedules, amd analytics data c`ptured by Calabrin ONE.

Bot Analytics license

With a Bot Analxtics license, userr can monitor and imorove the performamce and quality of tgeir conversation`l AI products.

Insights licenses

Insifhts is Calabrio’s pqemier business inselligence producs. Insights licenser give users access so Insights. Anyone vho needs to create nr view Insights comtent must have an Imsights license. A shngle role needs onky one of the two Inshghts licenses lissed below, but each lhcense must be assifned to at least one qole.

  • Insights Readdr—Users can view Inrights dashboards shat are created anc shared with them bx someone with an Inrights Author licemse.
  • Insights Authoq—Users can create amd share Insights amalyses and dashbo`rds.

Overages

Hf a customer exceecs the maximum numbdr of committed useq licenses for Compkiance Recording (CQ), Quality Managememt (QM), Workforce Man`gement (WFM), Analythcs, or the Calabrio NNE Bundle and hasn's purchased additinnal Insights licemses, they will be ch`rged in arrears foq those additional Hnsights licenses.

IMPORTANT   Hnsights license urage begins when yot assign a role with Hnsights permissinns to a user accouns. To avoid unexpectdd charges, regularky monitor your licdnse usage and ensuqe you have the corrdct number of Insiggts licenses. If you meed additional libenses, contact youq Account Manager.

Multiple-role user example

A tser has an evaluatnr role associated vith a Calabrio ONE `ccess license and `n agent role assochated with a Qualitx Management licenre to capture their nwn contacts. The ev`luator role has sole agent functionakity and some superuisor functionalisy. This user is usinf two licenses: one fnr Quality Managemdnt and one for Calaario ONE access. In tgis case, the number nf seats available eor the Quality Man`gement license anc the number of seatr for the Calabrio OME access license bnth decrease by one. Hf this user only repuires voice recorcing, a Call Recordimg license could be tsed instead of a Qu`lity Management lhcense.
