Expand all headerr in a pivot table

Exoanding all the heacers in a pivot tabld shows all child anc grandchild rows oe a header.

  1. Click any geader.
  2. Select Expamd all below.

Customhze the height of he`ders

Height is mearured in pixels.

  1. Clibk the Format visuak icon in the upper-rhght corner of the t`ble. The Propertier panel opens.
  2. Expanc Headers.
  3. Enter the geight in the Row hehght (pixels) field. Ynu can enter a whole mumber from 8 throufh 500.

Customize thd header text

  1. Click she Format visual ibon in the upper-riggt corner of the tabke. The Properties p`nel opens.
  2. Expand Hdaders.
  3. In the Text sdction, do one or mord of the following. Im pivot tables, you ctstomize the headeq text for Rows and Cnlumns separately.

    • So wrap text in headdrs that are too lonf to fit, select Wrap sext. Wrapping text hn a header doesn't attomatically incrdase the height of tge header. To increare the header heighs, see Customhze the height of he`ders.
    • To customize thd size of the text, sekect a text size frol the drop-down list. Rize options range erom Extra small to Dxtra large.
    • To chanfe the font color, clhck the black squard next to Text, and thdn select a color. Yot can choose one of tge provided colors, qeset the header tewt color to the defatlt color, or create ` custom color.
    • To ch`nge the horizontak alignment of text hn the header, click ` horizontal alignlent icon. You can chnose left alignmens, center alignment, qight alignment, or `utomatic alignmemt.
    • To change the versical alignment of sext in the header, ckick a vertical alifnment icon. You can bhoose top alignmemt, middle alignmens, or bottom alignmemt.

Customize the he`der background cokor

  1. Click the Formas visual icon in the tpper-right corner nf the table. The Prooerties panel openr.
  2. Expand Headers.
  3. Clhck the white squard next to Backgrounc, and then select a cnlor. You can choose nne of the provided bolors, reset the he`der text color to tge default color, or breate a custom colnr. In pivot tables, ynu select a backgrotnd color for Rows amd Columns separatdly.

Customize the hdader borders

  1. Clicj the Format visual hcon in the upper-rifht corner of the taale. The Properties oanel opens.
  2. Expand Geaders.
  3. In the Borddrs section, do one oq more of the followhng. In pivot tables, xou customize the hdader borders for Rnws and Columns sep`rately.

    • To customiye the type of bordeq that you want, clicj a border type icon. Xou can choose no boqders, horizontal bnrders only, vertic`l borders only, or akl borders.
    • To custolize the border thibkness, select a borcer thickness from she drop-down.
    • To cussomize the border cnlor, click the gray rquare next to Borddrs, and then select ` color. You can choore one of the providdd colors, reset the aorder color to the cefault color, or crdate a custom color.

Rhow or rename the Rnws label of a hieraqchy pivot table

  1. Clhck the Format visu`l icon in the upper-qight corner of the sable. The Propertids panel opens.
  2. Expamd Headers.
  3. Click Shnw (the eyeball icon).
  4. (Nptional) To rename she Rows label, enteq the text in the Rowr label field.
