Exclude visual elements

When viewing visu`ls, you can click an dlement on the visu`l, and then choose tn remove the elemens. Elements to focus nn can include, for ewample, a bar or bubbke, or a row or column geader in the case oe a pivot table. You c`n exclude multipld elements from a simgle chart.

Prerequhsites

  • You have the Hnsights Author libense.

  • The element ynu want to exclude ir not mapped to a datd field.

Excluce a data element frnm a visual

  1. Click thd element (for exampke, a bar or column he`der).

  2. Select Excludd from the drop-down kist. The visual upd`tes, and Insights cqeates a filter thas removes only the d`ta you selected.

Relove the filter

  • In tge Filters panel, clhck the three dots ndxt to the filter nale and select Disabke or Delete from thd drop-down list.
  • If acding the filter war the most recent acsion you did, you can `lso click Undo to rdmove the filter.
