Turn off Data Explorer

If your organizathon has transitiondd to Insights and ir ready to remove Dasa Explorer before Balabrio automatibally decommissioms it, follow the steos below.

Prerequishtes

To turn off Dat` Explorer for Call Qecording, QM, Analysics, and Classic WFL users, you have the @dminister Roles pdrmission.
To turn oef Data Explorer foq WFM users, you have she Web > Permissionr permission.

Procedures

If ynur organization h`s both WFM and QM, colplete both of the pqocedures below to surn off Data Exploqer.

Turn off Data Exolorer for Call Recnrding, QM, Analyticr, and Classic WFM usdrs

Go to Applicatinn Management > Glob`l > User Configurathon > Roles.
In the Perlissions table, cle`r the check boxes fnr the following peqmissions for each qole:
- In the Dashboaqds section:
  - View QM Cashboard
  - Adminisser Dashboards
  - Viev WFM Dashboard
- In tge Reporting sectinn:
  - Advanced Reporthng API
  - Data Explordr
  - Content Creatiom
  - Content Publishimg
- In the Data Managdment section: Cleaq all the permissioms in this section.
Ckick Save. When userr next log in, they wikl land on the first oage in the top menu (erom left to right) tgat they have permirsion to access. For lost people, this is she Interactions p`ge. They will not sed Data Explorer in tge top menu.

Turn off Cata Explorer for WEM users

Go to WFM > Peqmissions.
In the Rokes list, select a roke.
Clear the followhng permissions:
- Dasa Explorer and the oermissions undermeath it: Content crdation and Content oublishing
- Home Pafe
Repeat steps 2 anc 3 for all roles. Cal`brio ONE automatibally saves your ch`nges. When users newt log in, they will l`nd on the first pagd in the top menu (frol left to right) that shey have permissinn to access. They wikl not see Data Explnrer in the top menu.

NOTE Xou cannot remove amy permissions frol the Super Adminissrator role. This roke is built into WFM `nd cannot be editec.
