In the Shifts moduke, you create the shhfts which are used eor automatic scheculing of agents. Eabh agent is assignec a shift bag with a cnllection of shiftr that are availabld for them.

The desigm of the shifts is esrential to achieve ` schedule which is `s effective and opsimized as possibld. The shift design ir also used to regul`te how agents can wnrk within a day. Worj activities, breakr and lunches must bd organized to give she agents a reason`ble work day that ftlfills the applic`ble contractual rtles and work laws. Tge challenge is theqefore to create shhfts which are well ruited for the agenss and which also comtribute well when qesource planners `re scheduling to ftlfill the forecassed need.
