Use dynamic parameters in Insights
Dynamic parameters can look up values in Calabrio ONE and pass them into a parameter, such as the logged-in user's ID, name, or team to filter a dashboard. This allows Insights to display data that’s specific to each user, without requiring them to apply any filters manually. For example, you can use a dynamic parameter to look up the current user ID and filter the dashboard to show only that user’s data. This creates a more personalized, streamlined experience for everyone using the dashboard.
Prerequisites
-
You have the Insights Author license.
-
You have the Create Content permission.
- You have the View Content permission.
-
You have at least one of these permissions:
- View QM Data
- View WFM Data
-
You have added at least one dataset that includes the system_bi_user field:
-
People dataset in the QM folder
-
WFM People (Latest Period) dataset in the WFM folder
NOTE At least one of these datasets must be included in the analysis (they do not need to be bound to a visual). If your analysis includes both QM and WFM datasets, you don’t need to create two separate parameters—as long as you’re filtering on a value that is consistent across both datasets. For example, Person Name from QM and Full Name from WFM typically match.
