Contract schedule

The contract schedule states the average number of work days per week, implicitly stating the average days off per week. The contract schedule is the default schedule. This means that the days off will be scheduled according to the contract schedule if nothing else is done.

The contract schedule can cover one or several weeks but, normally one week is enough.

If no restrictions are used, all days off will be placed according to the contract schedule during scheduling. Optimisation can then be used to rearrange the days off according to the forecast.

Examples:

  • If the agents work five days a week, and the skill is open from Monday to Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday; the checkboxes for Monday to Friday should be checked and the checkboxes for Saturday and Sunday should be left empty.

  • If the agents work five days a week, and the skill is open from Monday to Saturday and closed Sunday; the checkboxes for Monday to Friday can still be checked and the checkboxes for Saturday and Sunday left empty. All agents will be scheduled with days off on Saturdays and Sundays by default (if no restrictions are used) and, during optimisation, some agents will be scheduled with Saturday shifts, and the Saturday days off will be moved to a week day to compensate.
