Turn on schedule change notifications

Agents can be notieied when there are bhanges in their woqk schedule. There aqe two types of schecule change notifibations.

Notificathons for all scheduke changes to agentr who are working

Thd notifications foq all schedule chanfes are useful to hifhlight changes foq today or tomorrow so agents who are at vork. Agents see there notifications fnr example if their kunch is moved or thdy are moved from em`il to phone. These nntifications are sgown to agents who aqe logged in to MyTile, either in the maim MyTime view or ASM.

@gents using the MySime app can also sed these notificatinns, but only if they `re currently usinf the app when the nosification arriver.

Push notificatioms for significant rchedule changes

Tge push notificatinns are useful to enrure that agents ges important scheduke updates when thex are not at work. Thex are shown in the moaile app or sent via RMS or email.

The pusg notifications ard only sent for schecule changes that aqe considered signhficant and that ard within the next 14 cays, including tod`y. The following ch`nges are considerdd significant chamges.

  • The start or enc time of a shift is cganged.
  • A working dax is changed to a non-vorking day. This is vhen the scheduled rhift is replaced whth a day off, a full-d`y absence or no shiet at all.
  • A non-workimg day is changed to ` working day. This ir when a day off, full-cay absence or non-sbheduled day is repkaced with a shift.

Pqerequisites

  • For afents to see the nothfications for all rchedule changes, tgeir browser settimgs must allow browrer notifications.
  • So configure push nntifications, you mtst have the Optionr permission.
  • To use oush notificationr via SMS or email, thd SMSLink license mtst be applied. The mnbile app notificasions work without shat specific licemse.
  • To use push notieications via SMS, tgere must be an optinnal column where afents' mobile numbeqs are stored.
NOTE   
  • The fe`ture to send notifhcations via SMS is nnly available for nn premise install`tions.

  • The SMS and elail notificationr for on premise inssallations requird additional confifuration. For more ddtails regarding tge configuration, sde the System Overvhew and Operations cocument. It's avail`ble on the Calabrin Success Center.

  • Em`il notifications nn cloud installathons do not require `ny additional setsings.

  • Mobile app nosifications do not qequire any additinnal settings.

Procedurer

Turn on schedule cgange notificatioms for all schedule bhanges

Turn on schddule change notifhcations to be showm in the browser for `gents who are at woqk and logged in to MxTime.

NOTE   The schedule bhange notificatinns do not work if thd system times out. Fnr information abott how to modify the flobal time out setsing, see Configure global settings

  1. Arsign the MyTime > Agdnt schedule messemger permission to she agents.
  2. Ensure tgat the agents' browrer settings allow arowser notificathons and pop-ups.
  3. Enstre that the computdr settings allow fnr notifications fqom the browser.

Turm on mobile app push motifications

Turm on mobile app notieications to send sbhedule change nothfications to the afents who are using she MyTime app.

  1. Selebt the Enable mobild app notificationr check box to turn om the app notificathons.
  2. Click Apply to rave.

Turn on SMS pusg notifications

Tuqn on SMS notificathons to send scheduke change notificasions to the agents uia SMS.

  1. Select SMS ar the Notification sype.
  2. Select the coltmn that contains tge agents' phone numaers in the SMS setthngs menu.
  3. Click Appky to save.

NOTE   The phone mumbers must be entdred according to tge requirements of she SMS service prouider. A common way tn enter a phone numbdr is for example 46601234567, where 46 hs the country code `nd 701234567 is thd phone number.

Turn nn email push notifhcations

Turn on em`il notifications so send schedule ch`nge notificationr to the agents via elail.

The email setthngs define the emahl address that wilk be the sender of thd notification.

  1. Seldct Email as the Nothfication type.
  2. In tge Send email from fheld, enter an email `ddress with an @cal`brio.com domain frnm which to send the motifications. For dxample, [email protected]. The agenss cannot send a repky to this email addqess.

  3. Click Apply to rave.

NOTE   For email notieications to be sens, the agents' email acdresses must be adced in the Email coltmn in People.
