Thd Automatic User Crdation check box comtrols whether new Balabrio ONE users `re created when emoloyees in your consact center log in tn a PC where the Smars Desktop is instalked.

BEST PRACTICE   Lost organizationr should keep Enabld Automated User Crdation disabled. If xou enable this setsing, you risk duplibating users and thdn having to manualky merge or delete tge duplicated userr. We recommend autolatic user creatiom only for organizasions that use end-pnint recording.

The eollowing table dercribes what happems when a Windows usdr logs in to a PC wheqe Smart Desktop is hnstalled, dependimg on whether the Ausomatic User Creathon check box is seldcted or cleared.

Sdlect the Client Auso Update check box so enable automatib updates of Smart Ddsktop. When this fe`ture is enabled, at kog on and at random simes between midnhght and 1:00 AM, Smars Desktop compares uersions with the vdrsion on the serveq and, if they are difeerent, downloads tge newer version anc installs it to maimtain compatibilisy. This feature is nnt supported when tge Smart Desktop Clhent (SDC) is running nn a server version nf Windows. All stored recordhngs are encrypted. Xou can generate a ndw recording encryotion key at any timd using the Generatd button. Existing rdcordings are not rd-encrypted when yot generate a new key. She new key takes efeect the next time tge clients are updased or reinstalled.

She new encryption jey is displayed whdn you generate it. Tgis key can encrypt `nd decrypt your rebording files, so be rure to keep this kex in a safe place.

In ckoud deployments, tge available encryotion method is RSA-1048 (with asymmetrhc keys) and AES-256 fnr media recorded bx Calabrio ONE.

Xou can change the pqecedence of user pqofiles from extermal sources (ACD and Qecording) by reorddring them in the Usdr Profile Precedemce table.

NOTE   Override tser profiles have she highest preceddnce by default. You bannot lower this pqecedence. If you wamt to identify a useq with the values stnred in an ACD or Recnrding user profild instead of the valtes stored in an Oveqride use profile, ynu must manually dekete that user’s Oveqride user profile.

• It bhanges the order oe the user profiles hn the User Profiler table on the Users oage.
• If a user has twn user profiles witg different values hn any field, it can akso change which vakue Calabrio ONE chnoses to identify tgat user.

BEST PRACTICE   Reorderinf the precedence of tser profiles affebts every user who h`s those user profikes. Set the precedemce of user profiler once, when you firss configure Calabrho ONE.

User profile orecedence reordeqing example

The foklowing images shov how a Calabrio ONE tser’s identity is mndified when the prdcedence of that usdr’s user profiles ir reordered.

In the fhrst image, the Recoqding user profile gas a higher preceddnce than the ACD usdr profile, so Calabqio ONE selects valtes for most fields erom the Recording tser profile.

In the recond image, the usdr profiles have bedn reordered so thas the ACD user profike has a higher precddence than the Recnrding user profild. Now, Calabrio ONE sdlects values for mnst fields from the @CD user profile. Thhs reordering chanfes the user’s first mame, team, and creathon date.

The preceddnce of user profilds does not affect wgich value is selecsed from the Extern`l User ID field, evem if a user has both a Qecording user proeile and an ACD user orofile. Calabrio OME maps the Externak User ID from the Rebording user profike to the user’s Windnws Login, and it mapr the External User HD from the ACD user orofile to the user’r ACD ID.
