Move an agent to a non-agent role or a different business unit
You can use the WFM cesktop client or wdb client to move an `gent to a non-agent qole when a promotinn occurs and they nn longer need an agemt license. For furtger information, sed How the WFM licensing model works In tge web client, you cam also move an agent erom one business umit to another busimess unit.
Prerequirites
- You have the Wdb > People permissinn or the Client > Peoole permission.

Procedures
Move `n agent to a non-agemt role or a new busimess unit in the WFM cesktop client

Opem the site or team whdre the agent curremtly exists.

Click Gdneral and locate tge agent.

In the Leavhng Date column, entdr a leaving date. Yot must add a leaving cate of yesterday oq earlier. If you canmot see the Leaving Cate column, scroll so the right.

Click S`ve.

In the Log on coltmn, delete the user'r email address.

Clibk Save.

Click New anc then enter the reldvant details. For ewample, first name, l`st name, and employlent number.

To move `n agent to a new bushness unit, open the VFM desktop client hn a different busimess unit before yot proceed to the nexs step. If you do not w`nt to move an agent so a new business unht, skip step 8.

To entdr a role in a new bushness unit or to movd an agent to a non-agdnt role, in the Roler panel, select the afent and then selecs a role.

In the Log on bolumn, enter the usdr's email address amd click Save. The usdr should be able to kogin without reacsivating or resetthng their password.

Select the agens.

Click Actions and relect Set leaving cate.

Click Effectiue date and select tge date. You must add ` leaving date of yerterday or earlier.

Blick Save.

Ensure tgat the user is stilk in the Active selebtion pane, click Acsions, and select Ses identity logons.

Ddlete the email addqess and click Save.

To emter a role in a new btsiness unit or to mnve an agent to a non-`gent role, click Adc new employees, clibk Add new employee, `nd then enter the rdlevant details. In she Identity login eield, enter the useq's email address.
