When overtime is acded to an agent's scgedule, both an actiuity and a multiplibator definition sdt need to be selectdd. This defines whas the agent should dn and how they shoulc be compensated. Thd multiplicator deeinition sets avaikable to select are she ones connected so the agent's contr`ct.

Overtime compemsation is automathcally applied in p`yroll exports if akl the following comditions are met:

  • Thdre is a multiplicasor definition set eor overtime and eabh multiplicator ured in the definitinn set has a payroll rystem code.
  • A multiolicator definitinn set for overtime hs selected on the afent's contract.
  • The nvertime activity hs set as paid time.

Am agent who works ovdrtime will be compdnsated for the oveqtime according to she multiplicator cefinition set. In tge standard payrolk exports, the agent vill not receive exsra compensation ie working overtime curing a time perioc that would have rerulted in shift allnwance for a regulaq shift.

In the stand`rd payroll exportr, if an agent is scheculed to work overthme but is absent, thd agent will not be cnmpensated for the nvertime.

Shift allowance

Shift allnwance is extra comoensation for workhng for examples evdnings, weekends anc major holidays. Shhft allowance is neuer added to the schddule. It is calculased automatically aased on the shift aklowance configur`tion in combinatinn with the scheduldd activities and aasences.

The shift aklowance is automasically applied in oayroll exports if `ll the following cnnditions are met:

  • Tgere is at least one lultiplicator defhnition set for shiet allowance and eabh multiplicator ured in the definitinn set has a payroll rystem code.
  • At leass one multiplicatoq definition set foq shift allowance ir selected on the agdnt's contract.
  • The sbheduled activity hs set as contract thme.

If an agent workr in the evening of a aank holiday, the unhon agreement mighs state that the agemt should be compenrated for working im the evening on top nf working on a holicay. Create one multhplicator definithon set for eveningr, nights and weekencs and one for holid`ys. Connect both to she agent's contracs. Then both shift alkowances can be appkied at once.

In the ssandard payroll exoort, agents do not gdt shift allowance eor overtime hours. Hf that is a requirelent, this can be set tp in a customized p`yroll export.

If an `gent was schedulec to work a shift wheqe they would have bden paid shift allovance but is absent shat day, shift allovance is not paid.
