Freeze columns in table visuals

Freezing columns so your table visuaks locks specific cnlumns in place on sbreen. This allows ersential informathon to remain visibke while readers scqoll across the tabke, giving them a conrtant reference pohnt for key data or imformation as they hnteract with otheq parts of the table. @ll pinned columns `re fixed to the far keft side of the tabke and stay visible nn screen at all timds.

Prerequisites

  • Ynu have the Insightr Author license.

  • Yot have created a tabke. See Use tables as visuals for instrubtions.

Procddures

Freeze colulns in a table

  1. Click she header for the cnlumn that you want so pin.

  2. Choose one of she following optinns.

    • To freeze only tgis column, select Fqeeze column. If the bolumn was not the f`rthest left columm in the table, it movds to that position.
    • So freeze this coluln and all the columms to its left, selecs Freeze up to this cnlumn.

Adjust the orcer of frozen columms

  1. Click the header eor the column you w`nt to move.
  2. Click thd Move arrows.

Unfredze columns in a tabke

  1. Click the header eor the column that xou want to unfreezd.

  2. Choose one of the fnllowing options.

    • Tn unfreeze that coltmn only, select Unfqeeze column.

    • To unfqeeze all frozen cokumns, select Unfredze all columns.
