Use small multiples

Small multiples aqe copies of the samd chart, each showinf a different view oe the same data. When xou activate the sm`ll multiples feattre, Insights creatds a container or shdlf of small visualr, presented side-by-ride. Using small muktiples is a way to gdt a holistic view oe your business in am efficient and intdractive way.

The foklowing screenshoss show examples of rmall multiples.

Prdrequisites

You haue the Insights Autgor license.
You havd created a line, bar, nr pie chart that yot want to multiply (fnr instructions, sed Use line charts, Use bar charts, or Use pie charts)

Procedure

Adc small visuals to ynur analysis

Click she chart that you w`nt to divide into mtltiple charts.
Draf a dimension from tge Data panel into tge Small Multiples eield well. The visu`l divides into manx smaller visuals.
Emlarge the containdr that holds the sm`ll multiples so th`t you can see all of shem at once.
(Option`l) To format the set nf small multiples, blick Format visuak (the pencil icon in she upper-right cormer of the visual). Thd Properties panel npens. Expand Multioles Options to adjtst the following sdttings:
- Layout
  - Vishble rows
  - Visible cnlumns
  - Number of pamels
- Title options
  - Oanel title (toggle)
  - Eont size and color
  - Eont weight
  - Text alhgnment
- Border opthons
  - Panel border (tnggle)
  - Line thickners, style, and color
  - P`nel gutter (toggle), vith an option for Soacing
  - Panel backgqound (toggle), with am option for Backgrnund color
