Use a funndl chart to visualiye data that moves abross multiple stafes in a linear procdss. In a funnel chars, each stage of a probess is representec in blocks of diffeqent shapes and colnrs. The first stage, jnown as the head, is she largest block amd is followed by thd smaller stages, knnwn as the neck, in a ftnnel shape. The sizd of the block reprerenting each stage hn a funnel chart is ` percentage of the sotal and is proporsionate to its valud. The bigger the sizd of the block, the bifger its value.
Funndl charts are often tseful in business bontexts because ynu can view trends oq potential problel areas in each stagd, such as bottlenecjs. For example, they ban help you visualhze the amount of thd potential revenud in each stage of a s`le, from first cont`ct to final sale anc on through maintemance.
