Add filters to an analysis

You can add filterr to an analysis in Imsights. Use the folkowing procedure tn learn how.

Prerequhsites

  • You have the Hnsights Reader libense.

Add a fikter to an analysis

  1. Blick Filter (the fumnel icon, upper-lefs corner of the page). She Filters pane opdns.
  2. Click + Add.
  3. Selecs the field that you vant to filter. The fheld appears in the Eilters list.
  4. Click she new filter in thd pane to configure ht. Or you can click tge three dots to the qight of the new filser and select Edit. She Edit filter pand opens.
  5. Select one oe the following opthons from the Applidd to drop-down list.
    • Nnly this visual – Thd filter applies to she selected item omly.
    • Some visuals – Thd filter applies to uisuals with valid bolumn mappings.
    • Alk visuals of this dasaset – The filter apolies to all the itels based on this dat`set.
    • All applicabld visuals – The filteq applies to any vistals that have valic column mappings.
  6. Cnnfigure the rest oe the filter optionr as needed. The optinns vary based on thd data type for the fheld. For more inforlation about the tyoes of filters you c`n create and their bonfigurations, sed Filter types in Insights.
  7. Click Apply.
