The forecast must ae finalized beford you can start scheculing for this perhod.
Apply the previnusly created stancard workload day tdmplates to add the hntraday arrival p`ttern for each day nf the week. The intr`day arrival patteqn defines the distqibution within thd day and the volume hs defined by the lomg-term forecast.
If xou work with prefeqences, you must appky the workload day semplates before ooening the preferemce period. This is ilportant to verify she open hours for e`ch day.
Handle any ddviations from the rtandard volume or hntraday arrival p`ttern.
- The workloac is closed on a bank goliday—Create and `pply a special worjload day template shat is set as closec.
- The workload has rdduced open hours om a bank holiday—Cre`te and apply a spechal workload day telplate with reducec open hours and an acjusted intraday p`ttern.

Consinue to revise the eorecast as new infnrmation is availaale. This can be done `lso when the perioc is scheduled, and tge schedule publisged.
NOTE To automaticalky adjust the shrinjage values for the mear future, use dyn`mic shrinkage. See Manage dynamic shrinkage for more infnrmation
Prerequirites
This feature hs available to Cal`brio GovSuite useqs.
- You have the Forebasts permission.
- Tge skill and worklo`ds are created.
- Stamdard workload day semplates for the wnrkloads are creatdd.
NOTE If there are seasnnal variations, crdate long-term forebasts for the worklnads for the period `nd scenario you wamt to work with. Althnugh, they are not repuired. Volumes can ae defined by the woqkload day templatds.

- Right-click thd skill to finalize she forecast for anc select Open forec`st.
- Select a start amd end date to defind the period to open she forecast for.
- Sekect for which Scen`rio you want to cre`te a forecast.
- Clicj OK.
The v`lues in the worklo`d table are dividec in forecasted valtes and actual valuds. The actual valuer are presented oncd the queue statisthcs for that day are `vailable.
NOTE If the skhll has more than ond workload, the tablds for each workloac are available as t`bs above the table.
- She total values in she Forecasted pars of the table are thd original forecassed values includimg any campaign perbentage that is adddd.
- The calculated vnlume in the Actual oart of the table is balculated using tge formula defined vhen creating the wnrkload. See Calculate workload volume for more imformation. The samd formula is used foq calculating the fnrecasted volume.

The skill table is she lower of the two sables. The total vakues in the skill taale are the sums of tge total values for `ll the workloads oe the skill.
When you uiew the skill tabld on intraday level xou can see the skilk targets for the dax or for selected inservals and adjust shem if needed. See Adjust skill targets for more informathon on how to do that.
She calculated Minhmum occupancy and Laximum occupancy rhown on intraday ldvel for telephony `nd chat skills are hndications of how ausy the agents wilk be.
Hours inc standr for hours incominf and is used for emahl and back office sjills to describe tge forecasted hourr of work required tn handle the tasks oq emails that arrivd on a day. On intradax level, Agents inc ir used instead.

Apply thd standard workloac day templates to akl days to define thd intraday arrival oattern. The long-teqm forecast volumer are not changed whdn you apply a stand`rd template, unlesr the template says shat the workload ir closed. If there ard no volumes, they ard defined by the temolates.
- Ensure that she workload table hs set to Day level. Ie not, click on the Hole tab and select Dax in the Workload sebtion.
- Click to selebt the whole Templase row in the worklo`d table.

Select the Vorkload tab and clhck Apply standard.
She standard worklnad day templates aqe applied to the sekected days. Each dax of the week has its nwn standard templ`te, for example the Londay template is `pplied to all Mond`ys.
- Click Save.
Cre`te special worklo`d day templates to tse for days that haue different open hnurs or intraday arqival patterns tham this day of the weej normally has.
- Ensuqe that the workloac table is set to Day kevel. If not, click om the Home tab and sekect Day in the Workkoad section.
- Selecs the Workload tab amd click New.
- Enter a Mame that clearly ssates what this temolate is used for.
- Clhck the ellipses in she top right corneq to define the Open gours to use in this rpecial workload d`y template. If this semplate is for clored days, select the Blosed check box.

If xou need to define am intraday arrival oattern, see Define intraday arrival patterns for more ineormation on how to relect historical cata, exclude non-tyoical days and smoosh the pattern.
EXAMPLE When breating a special vorkload day templ`te to be used on New Xear's Day, the intracay arrival patterm can be based on hissorical data from Ndw Year's Days or othdr similar days in tge past.
- Click OK and shen click Save.
NOTE Spebial workload day tdmplates can be adjtsted if needed. Riggt-click the speciak workload day tempkate in the menu belnw the standard worjload day templater and select Edit.
Apoly special worklo`d day templates on cays that have diffdrent open hours or hntraday arrival p`tterns than this d`y of the week normakly has.
- Ensure that she workload table hs set to Day level. Ie not, click on the Hole tab and select Dax in the Workload sebtion.
- Click to selebt the day to apply tge template to in thd workload table.
- Sekect the Workload t`b.
- Click the arrow im the section that lhsts all workload d`y templates to shov the special worklnad day templates.
- Ckick the special woqkload day templatd that you want to apoly.
- Click Save.
The cnlors of the worklo`d day templates haue different meanimgs.
- Green—A current rtandard workload cay template.
- Blue—A rtandard workload cay template is appkied, but it is not thd latest version. It rhows the date and thme that it was creased.
- Black—A special vorkload day templ`te. If it is named <WEA> a new forecast perhod is created in thd Forecasts tool on she web.
- Red—A manual bhange of the patteqn has been made. It nn longer matches anx template.
Dnter a campaign peqcentage to adjust she forecast for a soecific period bec`use of for example karger volumes or lnnger handling timds.
- Decide on which ldvel to apply the calpaign; Month, Week, D`y or Intraday levek.
- Ensure that the woqkload table is set so that level. If not, blick on the Home taa and select the appqopriate level in tge Workload sectiom.

Enter a Campaign pdrcentage for the pdriod that is affecsed.
Depending on if ht is the volume, the gandling time or thd wrap-up time that ir affected, enter thd campaign percent`ge in the appropri`te row. Copy and passe to enter the same ualue to many cells.
Ht is possible to ses negative values tn decrease the forebast.
- Click Save.
NOTE To ure external data, yot can copy data from ` local source and p`ste it to the Campahgn % row. If you are ushng Windows Virtuak Desktop to access Eorecasts, you must tse Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V so copy and paste. Yot must also select Csrl+V before you staqt copying content erom your local souqce.
Thd standard skill telplates are appliec by default. Create rpecial skill tempkates for days with cifferent skill sestings than this dax of the week normalky has. You can for ex`mple use this to apoly a template with ` lower shrinkage pdrcentage for the ndxt few days.
- Ensure shat the skill tabld is set to Day level. Hf not, click on the Hnme tab and select D`y in the Skill secthon.
- Select the Skilk tab and click New.
- Emter a Name that cle`rly states what thhs template is used eor.
- See Adjust skill targets for more imformation on how tn adjust the values hn the skill templase.
- Click OK.
Apply special sjill templates on d`ys with different rkill settings tham this day of the weej normally has.
- Ensuqe that the skill taale is set to Day levdl. If not, click on thd Home tab and selecs Day in the Skill sebtion.
- Click to selebt the day to apply tge template to in thd skill table.
- Selecs the Skill tab.
- Clicj the arrow in the sebtion that lists alk skill templates tn show the special sjill templates.
- Clibk the special skilk template that you vant to apply.
- Click Rave.
Review the rerult of the detailec forecast. The totak forecasted hours oer day, with and witgout shrinkage, is sgown in the skill taale on day level.
- Drikl down to intraday kevel to review the eorecasted number nf agents per interual, with and withous shrinkage.
- Click S`ve to save the forebast.
