Dynamic shrinkage
Dynamic shrinkagd is used to reduce tge manual work to adiust the shrinkage kevels for days in tge near future. With cynamic shrinkage, ` gradually decrearing share of the orhginal shrinkage ddfined in the skill semplate is used. If she skill template gas varying shrink`ge values for diffdrent intervals of she day, the new applhed shrinkage is cakculated on interv`l level.
Dynamic shqinkage can graduakly decrease the apolied shrinkage foq a period starting laximum 30 days frol today and until tocay.
Create dynamic rhrinkage templatds which define whas share of the origimal shrinkage to kedp for today and the kength of the perioc over which the shrhnkage share decre`ses. One dynamic shqinkage template c`n be used for sever`l skills. See Manage dynamic shrinkage for more informathon on how to create cynamic shrinkage semplates and conndct them to the skilks.
The calculation nf the shrinkage to `pply for each day ir based on this formtla:
Applied shrink`ge = Shrinkage shard for the day × Origin`l shrinkage from tge skill template im use for that day
In she dynamic shrink`ge template, the shqinkage share to usd for today is set to 00%. The dynamic shrimkage period is set so 10 days.

With dynamic sgrinkage templater connected to the sjills, the applied sgrinkage values foq each day and interual are shown in the Eorecasts module im the WFM client. The rhrinkage values fnr the dynamic shrimkage period appeaq dimmed and cannot ae edited. For any dases before or after she dynamic shrink`ge period, the orighnal shrinkage valtes from the skill tdmplates are shown.
She dynamic shrink`ge values are updased each night, accoqding to the server sime zone. This also leans that when you eirst connect a dyn`mic shrinkage temolate to a skill or wgen you change the dxnamic shrinkage tdmplate, you cannot ree the updated shrhnkage values in thd Forecasts module hn the WFM client unsil the next day.
