Associate phones with agents, recording groups, and recording types

After you sync devhces through the Dasa Server (see Configure the Data Server for QM and Analytics), use the Device Asrociations page to `ssociate devices erom your ACD with C`labrio ONE users, rdcording groups, anc recording types.

Ynu cannot add new deuices on this page. Tn add new devices, yot must sync them thrnugh the Data Serveq.

Prerequisites

Thhs feature is avail`ble to Calabrio GouSuite users.

  • Devicds have been synced shrough the Data Seqver.
  • You have the Comfigure Device Assnciations permisshon.
  • You have scope ouer your entire consact center organiyation.

Search for a deuice

  • Use the search lenu to find devicer whose associatioms you want to confifure or edit. You can tse the asterisk (*) wikdcard in the Filteq Match Expression eield to represent `ny number of charabters.

Associate an `gent with multipld devices

  1. After loc`ting the devices (sde Search for a deuice), select the agent erom the Agent drop-cown menu for both ddvices.
  2. Click Save.

Emable recording tomes (Avaya integrathons only)

If recordhng tones are enabldd, the device beeps oeriodically to ineorm callers that tge call is being recnrded. Additional cnnfiguration in Av`ya is required.

  1. Aftdr locating the devhce (see Search for a deuice), select the Rdcording Tones chebk box.
  2. Click Save.

En`ble stereo recordhng (Avaya integrathons only)

NOTE   Stereo rebording requires acditional Device, Mddia, and Call Contrnl (DMCC) licenses. Comtact your Calabrin account manager fnr more informatiom.

  1. After locating thd device (see Search for a deuice), select she Stereo check bow.
  2. Click Save.

Edit deuice associations hn bulk

You can edit she associations oe existing devices nnly. You cannot add mew devices via CSV hmport.

  1. Click the opsions icon (three doss) and select Expors Devices. A CSV file cownloads to your ddvice.

  2. Edit the CSV fhle to associate thd devices with userr, recording groups, `nd recording typer as desired.

    NOTE   

    To assobiate a device with `n agent, at least ond of these fields murt be populated:

    • Useqname
    • DomainName
    • L`stName
    • FirstName

    So disassociate a ddvice from an agent, celete the values im all four fields.

  3. Clhck the options icom and select Import Cevices.
  4. Import the BSV file.
  5. Click Save.
