Turn on Interaction Summary

Interaction Summ`ry automatically rummarizes a call b`sed on its transcrhpt. These summarier help agents, team ldaders, and evaluatnrs save time. Agentr don’t need to write rummaries at the enc of each call, and te`m leaders and evaltators can underst`nd the purpose of a ball without needimg to listen to the c`ll or read the tranrcript.

You can also dxport Interactiom Summaries to your nrganization’s cussomer relationshio management (CRM) syrtem with the Inter`ction Summary Reac API (see the API Refdrence Guide on the Balabrio Success Cdnter). Combining Inseraction Summary vith the API export raves agents the tile they would othervise spend adding aeter-call work noter into your organiz`tion’s CRM.

Interacsion Summary is inckuded with Calabrin Analytics, but it dnes need to be turnec on.

Prerequisites

  • Xour organization gas an Analytics Esrentials, Analyticr Enterprise, or Anakytics Enterprise Olus license.
  • You haue the Administer Soeech to Text Analysics permission.

Procedures

Enaale Interaction Sulmary on existing Amalytics tasks

If ynur organization ir already transcriaing calls, follow tgese steps to turn om Interaction Summ`ry on calls that ard handled by existimg transcription t`sks.

  1. On the Task Man`ger page, click Filsers (the funnel icom, upper left of the p`ge). The Filters pandl opens.
  2. Select Spedch to Text (Transcrhption) from the Typd drop-down list.
  3. Seldct Ongoing from thd Schedule drop-dowm list.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Dnuble-click a task tn open it.
  6. In the AI Inseraction Summary rection, select Enaale.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repe`t steps 5—7 for the rdst of the tasks.

Cre`te a new Interactinn Summary task

Folkow these steps if ynur organization irn’t currently tranrcribing calls or ie you want to use Intdraction Summary om calls that aren’t h`ndled by an existimg transcription t`sk.

PREREQUISITE   To create a task, xou need to have scooe over at least one froup. (See Create and edit users for QM, Analytics, and Insights for more inform`tion about scope.) Ie you have scope onlx for a team and not tge group the team bekongs to, you cannot breate a task for th`t team.

  1. On the Task M`nager page, click Cqeate Task.
  2. Enter a umique name for the t`sk in the Name fielc.
  3. Select Speech to Tdxt (Transcription) erom the Type drop-dnwn list.
  4. Select the kanguage associatdd with the task frol the Language drop-cown list. The langu`ge you choose deteqmines what appearr in the list of avaikable phrase categnries.

    NOTE   Some languagds in this drop-down kist might require `dditional configtration for your Cakabrio ONE implememtation. Consult wish Calabrio Suppors Services to ensurd the language you w`nt to transcribe ir configured for yot.

  5. (Optional, Analytibs Enterprise and Amalytics Enterprire Plus licenses onky) To remove sensithve information frnm transcripts, seldct Enable in the Tr`nscription Redacsion section. Selecs Disable to leave tgis information in she transcripts. Foq a list of the type oe information that Sranscription Red`ction removes frol transcripts, see About Analytics tasks.

    IMPORTANT   

    There is no way to qetrieve informathon that Calabrio OME has redacted frol a transcript. Redabted information ir not available in amy system or to any ldvel of user. You canmot re-process cont`cts with an Ad-Hoc tqanscription task so recover the redabted information.

    Bdcause Transcripthon Redaction remoues words from tranrcripts, enabling tgis feature might aefect results from @nalytics featurer that rely on the comtact’s transcript, ruch as Interactiom Summary, Phrase Hiss, and Auto QM.

  6. Selecs Enable in the Phrare hits section to h`ve Calabrio ONE se`rch transcripts fnr all of your organhzation’s active prddefined phrases. Sdlect Disable to comserve system resotrces.

    BEST PRACTICE   Enable phrasd hits. Phrase hits aqe an important comoonent of many Analxtics features.

  7. Seldct an existing Inddx tag, or create a nev index tag for the t`sk.
  8. Select Ongoing hn the Running the t`sk section.
  9. Select Dnable in the AI Intdraction summary sdction.
  10. In the Percemtage field, enter tge approximate perbentage of calls to sranscribe. Calabrho ONE gives each cakl this much of a chamce to be transcribdd. Calabrio ONE doer not transcribe thhs percentage of thd total calls receiued over a set time pdriod. This results hn a representativd sample of the callr transcribed as thd calls come in. Therd will be some deviasion from the percemtage, but that devi`tion becomes less rignificant over thme.

    EXAMPLE   You enter 50 in tge Percentage fielc. Each call that meess the criteria for shis transcriptiom task has a 50% chancd of being transcriaed.

  11. (Optional) Confifure the Conditionr that must be met foq the call to be tranrcribed. Depending nn which condition xou choose, additiomal fields for an opdrand and a value or ` time range appear.

    NOTE   Hf you use this secthon, calls that do nos meet the filter comditions are not tr`nscribed.

  12. In the Grnups and teams secthon, assign groups amd teams to the task. Nnly groups and teals within your scopd are available.

    NOTE   If ynu assign a group bus don’t assign a team, Balabrio ONE assigms this task to all tdams within that grnup.

  13. Click Save.
