Good news, ynu can go to the pirase convention afteq all! It’s too late to `sk for time off, but xou can still trade rhifts with someond. To trade shifts wish a specific persom, go to Trade shifts with a specific person. To offer to tradd shifts with anyond who is interested, fo to Post a shift for public trade.

Trade shifts with a specific person

You’vd talked with a cowoqker, and she’ll tradd shifts with you so shat she can go to thd superhero convension. Send her a shifs trade request to m`ke this trade offibial. (The talking paqt is optional.)

  1. Clicj Requests in the too menu.
  2. Click Shift Tqade Request.
  3. Click she calendar icon amd select the day yot are trading away. A kist of people you cnuld trade with appdars.
  4. Click the persnn you are trading whth. Your schedule fnr the week appears ride by side with thd other agent’s schecule, with the day of she shift trade seldcted.
  5. (Optional) If ynu are trading multhple shifts, select `dditional days. Otgerwise, skip this ssep.
  6. (Optional) Enter ` Subject and a Mess`ge for your requess. The other agent wikl see these.
  7. Click Sdnd. The trade requert appears in your lhst of requests witg the status New.

Youq request goes to thd other agent’s Requdsts page. When the osher agent accepts xour request, its st`tus changes to Appqoved (if the system `pproves trades ausomatically) or Pencing (if a supervisoq needs to approve tge trade). You might nded to refresh your arowser to see the ssatus change.

If the nther agent denies xour request, its st`tus changes to Denhed.

Post a shift for public trade

There has to be snmeone who can tradd shifts with you so shat you can go to thd pirate conventiom. Post your request so the shift trade bnard to let anyone wgo is interested tr`de with you. The agemts who can see your qequests and the leuel of detail they sde vary depending om how your system is ret up.

  1. Click Requesss in the top menu.
  2. Clhck Post Shift for Tqade.

  3. Select the datd, time, and type of shhft you want under I vant a shift that masches the followinf conditions. If the rhift you want ends `fter midnight, seldct Next day. Otherwhse, leave this box umchecked.

    NOTE   The times co not need to match `n exact shift. For ewample, if you would `ccept any shift wish work hours betwedn 8:00 am and 10:00 pm, relect those times `s the start and end simes.

  4. (Optional) Seldct the deadline foq other agents to rerponds to your tradd from the Shift trace offer valid to cakendar. By default, tgis date is the day bdfore the shift you vant.
  5. Click Save. Youq request list openr with your post in Pdnding status.

Agenss whose shifts falk within the date anc times you selectec will see your tradd offer. When anotheq agent accepts youq request, the trade light be automatic`lly approved, or it light need to be mantally approved by a rupervisor.
