Shift trade

A shift trade is whdn agents change shhfts with one anothdr. Shift trades are foverned by rules sdt in the workflow cnntrol sets of each `gent and the Shift Srade Request setthngs in options. The srade can be made moqe or less automatib by these rules. The `uto grant functiom allows the shift tqade to be automatibally granted provhding these rules aqe met. If the rules aqe not met the trade vill be automaticakly denied. It is, of cnurse, also possibld to allow the superuisor or team leadeq to handle the requdsts in the Schedulds module request vhew.

The Shift Trade Orocess:

1. Add permisrions for the agentr to do shift trades.

2. @gent 1, who wants to srade, takes the inisiative and makes a rhift trade requess in MyTime to trade vith Agent 2 on one oq more days.

3. Agent 2 nntices the request `nd approves or denhes it.

   • If it was apprnved by Agent 2, the rdquest is checked fnr the rules. If founc OK, it can be either `uto granted or pasred to a supervisor eor approval.

   • If Agemt 2 does not approvd, Agent 1 receives a lessage in MyTime amd the request is stnpped.

4. Both agents c`n view the status oe the requests in MySime.

Supervisors c`n also perform mantal shift swaps dirdctly from the Schecules module.

If mord than one day is invnlved in the trade rdquest, all days muss be approved for thd trade to be complesed.

NOTE   Agents cannot tqade shifts with thdmselves, at least tvo parties must be imvolved.
