Optional columns
The optional columns are used to manage extra information about agents in People. The fields are searchable and can be freely defined in Options > Optional Column.
The optional columns are viewed in the general tab in People module and are therefore not subject to a start date. The content in the column is a plain text format.
Users can configure optional columns as dynamic group pages that will also be available for reporting.
Example: Create an optional column "Department" and configure it to be used as Dynamic Group Page. Assign agents to their various departments "Sales", "Support", "Finance"... Now the group page "Department" can be used as selection criteria in many places in the solution as well as in most reports.
