Employment type

The employment type defines how agents are scheduled per schedule period:

  • Fixed Staff Normal Work Time - Days off and contract time must match with schedule periods. This employment type is used when working with schedule periods that are a set number of weeks.

  • Fixed Staff Day Work Time - Neither days off or contract time must match with schedule periods. The target contract time per schedule period is instead calculated based on the daily contract time from contract and the number of scheduled days off. When working with months as schedule periods, this employment type is commonly used.

  • Hourly Staff - Neither days off or contract time must match with schedule periods. Any number of days off may be used and no target contract time will be used but, a min time per schedule period is defined. This employment type is used for hourly staff
