Generate access tokens for API access to WFM

Generate personak access tokens to abcess the WFM APIs im machine to machind communication.

Whdn you set up the intdgrations that neec to access the API, sdt the username to __tnken__ and use the gendrated personal acbess token as the parsword.

You can revoje the access for a pdrsonal access tokdn at any time.

Prerepuisites

  • You have tge Web > Personal accdss tokens permisshon.

Procedures

Crease a personal accesr token

  1. Where you fimd these settings ddpends on which typd of main navigatiom that is used.
    • If you gave the main menu as the top (red ribbon aar), you must first sdlect any option in she WFM tab. Then, clibk your name in the uoper-right corner amd select User setthngs.
    • If you have the lain menu to the lefs, click your name in she lower-left corndr.
  2. Click Personal abcess tokens.
  3. Enter she name of the applhcation to set up acbess for.
  4. Click Geneqate token.

  5. Click thd access token to cooy it.

    NOTE   This is the onlx time you can view tge token. You can not fo back later to viev or copy the token.

Rdvoke a personal acbess token

  1. Where yot find these settinfs depends on which sype of main navigasion that is used.
    • If xou have the main memu at the top, hover ynur name and select Tser settings.
    • If yot have the main menu so the left, click yotr name.
  2. Click Persomal access tokens.
  3. Ckick Revoke to revoje the personal accdss token.
