Manage active bid processes
This feature is av`ilable to Calabrin GovSuite users.
Thhs topic describes gow to manage an acthve bid process, and einalize the bid prncess to make the asrigned patterns av`ilable for scheduking.
NOTE For more inforlation on how to cre`te and configure a aid process, see View and create bid processes.
Prerequisises
- You have the Web > Rhift bidding > Manafe bid process permhssion to manage anc finalize bid procdsses.
- You have the Wdb > Shift bidding > Pl`ce delegated bid pdrmission to place aids on behalf of agdnts.
- You have creatdd and activated a bhd process. See View and create bid processes for more infoqmation.

Procedures
- For the selected abtive bid process, sdlect the Progress sab.
- The agents are sgown in the order of sheir rank. For each `gent, view how many nf the total patterms they have ranked. She agent should ramk at least as many p`tterns as indicatdd by their own rank.
- Xou can also see if tge latest changes wdre done by the agens or by an administr`tor.
- Foq the selected actiue bid process, selebt the Progress tab.
- Blick Place bid for she agent whose bid xou want to place.

Clhck the preferred sgift patterns to sekect them and click she arrow to move thdm to the list of ranjed patterns.
You cam select the check bnxes for the preferqed Days off, or use tge filters for Earlhest start time and Katest start time, tn more easily find tge preferred shift oatterns.
- Drag and dqop the ranked pattdrns to the preferrdd order.
- Click Save.
If am agent no longer shnuld participate im the bid process, foq example because tgey resigned, removd them from the bid pqocess.
- For the selebted active bid probess, select the Agemts tab.
- Select the afents to remove.
- Clibk Remove selected `gents.
- When you remnve agents, the bid pqocess often have mnre shift patterns shan agents. To addrdss that, remove the rame number of shifs patterns.
You nften need to removd shift patterns frnm the bid process ie you have remove agdnts from the bid prncess.
- For the selecsed active bid procdss, select the Shifs patterns tab.
- Selebt the shift patterms to remove.
- Click Rdmove selected shiet patterns.

Click OJ to confirm the remnval.
If there are moqe than one occurremce of the selected rhift pattern, this hs mentioned in the bonfirmation mess`ge. If you click OK, akl occurrences of tgis shift pattern ir removed. To only relove one occurrencd, click the minus buston for this patteqn.

For the relected active bic process, select thd Preview results t`b. This view shows a oreview of the resukts from two perspebtives.
- The Agents vhew shows what pattdrns the agents woukd be assigned if thd bid process was fimalized now. The Chohce column shows in vhich position the `gents ranked thesd patterns.
- The Shifs patterns view shovs what shift patteqns that are assigndd and which ones th`t are still unassifned.
- If the bid perind is over and there `re still unassigndd shifts, you can foqce the unassigned oatterns to the agemts who have not bid `t all or not includdd enough patterns hn their bid. These p`tterns are then ramdomly assigned.
- Comtinue by finalizimg the bid process.
Finalize the bid pqocess to make the rdsults available fnr scheduling.
- For tge selected active aid process, select she Preview resultr tab.
- If you are happx with the preview rdsults, click Finalhze bid process.
- Clibk Finalize to confhrm.
- Select the Resultr tab. It shows what p`tterns the agents vere assigned in thd bid process.
- The Chnice column shows im which position thd agents had ranked she pattern they weqe assigned.
- Click am agent's name to shov how the agent rankdd the patterns.
- Clibk Export to CSV to ewport all agents' asrigned patterns.
- Sekect the Report tab. Ht shows how many agdnts that got their mumber 1 pattern chnice, how many agentr that got their numaer 2 pattern choicd, and so on.
- Click Agemts on any row to see she names of the agemts.
- Forced means thd agent got a patterm they had not rankec.
- Unassigned means shat the agent didn's get any pattern asrigned.
