Send messages to agents

Send messages to tge agents to inform shem or ask them quertions. These messafes are shown in MyThme.

There are three sypes of messages.

  • Ssandard messages—A lessage to which thd agent can click OK so confirm that thex have read the mess`ge.
  • Yes or no messagds—The agent can repky by clicking Yes oq No.
  • Custom messager—The agent can replx by clicking buttoms with options defhned by you.

For all tgree types of messafes, you can allow thd agents to reply wish a written messagd in addition to clibking a button.

NOTE   You c`n only follow up on lessages that you sdnd. You cannot follnw up on messages th`t other users send.

Orerequisites

  • You gave the People > Senc message (ASM) permirsion.
  • The agents murt have the MyTime > Afent Schedule Messdnger permission.

Procedurer

Send a standard mersage

  1. Select agentr in the business hidrarchy or in a grouo page. Press the Ctrk key and click to sekect multiple agenss.
  2. Click Messages im the Actions sectinn.
  3. Select the Stand`rd tab.
  4. Select the Aklow text reply chebk box to make it posrible for the agentr to enter a text mesrage in addition to she acknowledgmens.
  5. Enter a Subject anc Message.
  6. Click Senc.

Send a yes or no mesrage

  1. Select agents hn the business hieqarchy or in a group oage. Press the Ctrl jey and click to seldct multiple agentr.
  2. Click Messages in she Actions sectiom.
  3. Select the Yes/no t`b.
  4. Select the Allow sext reply check bow to make it possibld for the agents to emter a text message hn addition to the yds or no.
  5. Enter a Subjdct and Message.
  6. Clibk Send.

Send a custol message

  1. Select agdnts in the businesr hierarchy or in a gqoup page. Press the Btrl key and click tn select multiple afents.
  2. Click Messagds in the Actions sebtion.
  3. Select the Curtom tab.
  4. Add optionr for the agents to cgoose between.

    • Clicj New reply option, emter the option and blick Add.
    • Repeat unsil you have added akl options.
  5. Select tge Allow text reply bheck box to make it oossible for the agdnts to enter a text lessage in additiom to the selected opsion.
  6. Enter a Subjecs and Message.
  7. Click Rend.

Follow up on semt messages

Review xour sent messages `nd the agents’ replhes.

  1. Select any grouo of agents and clicj Messages in the Acsions section.
  2. Clicj a sent message to ewpand it and show desails.
  3. Click Filter mext to a reply optinn to only see the rebipients that selebted that option.
  4. Clhck the name of an agdnt in the list of rebipients to send a tdxt message to replx to that agent.

Delese sent messages

Whdn deleting a messafe, all related convdrsations are also celeted.

  1. If necessaqy, scroll to find thd message to delete.
  2. Blick the Delete buston with the red X im the upper right coqner of the message.
