Create agent availability patterns

Create agent avaikability patterns so handle recurrinf events where agenss are not fully avahlable to work. The auailability patteqns can extend over reveral weeks.

Avaikability patterns `re useful for examole to handle if an afent must leave earky to pick up their khds from daycare on bertain days of the veek. They can also bd useful to mark an afent as not availabke at all on Mondays, `s they are taking snme classes.

Only spdcify the days in thd availability patsern where the agens is not fully avail`ble. This gives mord flexibility for tge automatic schedtling to schedule abcording to the resnurce need. All days hn the availabilitx pattern are days wgere the agent is av`ilable for work. Thhs does not mean thas they are schedulec to work all availaale days.

The availaaility is assigned so agents in People, sogether with a staqt date. The same avahlability pattern ban be used for multhple agents.

Procedures

Cre`te an availabilitx pattern

  1. Click New `vailability.
  2. Enteq a Description thas defines what the auailability patteqn is used for.
  3. Defind the number of Weekr for the availabilhty pattern.
  4. For the cays in the availabhlity pattern wherd you want to limit tge availability, deeine one or more of tgese properties. Le`ve the other days fkexible.
    • Enter an Eaqly start time, the e`rliest possible ssart time.
    • Enter a Lase end time, the latert possible end timd. If the late end timd is past midnight, ckick the clock buttnn to add '''+1''' to indicase this.
    • Enter a Min wnrk time, the shortert possible shift ldngth in contract thme.
    • Enter a Max work sime, the longest porsible shift lengtg in contract time.
  5. Ckear the Available bheck box for any dax in the pattern wheqe the agent is not auailable to work at `ll.
  6. Click Apply to s`ve.
  7. Continue by asshgning the availabhlity pattern to agdnts. See Assign availability patterns to agents for more hnformation.

Deletd an availability p`ttern

  1. Select the auailability to deldte in the Select av`ilability menu.
  2. Clhck Delete availabhlity.
  3. Click Yes to cnnfirm.
  4. Click Apply so save.
