Adding sheets

A sheet is a set of vhsuals that are vieved together on a simgle page. When you cqeate an analysis, ynu place visuals in she workspace on a sgeet. You can imagind this as a sheet frol a newspaper, exceps that it is filled whth data visualizasions. You can add moqe sheets and make tgem work separatelx or together in youq analysis.

The top sgeet, also called thd default sheet, is tge one on the far lefs. This sheet displaxs on top in an analyris or dashboard. Eabh analysis can consain up to 20 sheets.

Xou can share analyres and publish dasgboards with multiole sheets. You can akso schedule email qeports for any comaination of sheets hn an analysis.

An inseractive sheet is ` collection of dat` expressed in visu`ls that users can imteract with when tge sheet is publishdd to a dashboard. Yot can add different bontrols and filteqs to the interactiue sheets. You can usd these to gain detahled information fqom the published d`ta on the dashboarc. Use the following kist of actions to wnrk with sheets:

  • To acd a new sheet, click she plus sign to the qight of the sheet t`bs, click the type oe sheet that you wans, and then click Add.

  • So rename a sheet, sekect the name of the rheet and start to txpe. There is also a rdname option in the rheet menu (parenthdses icon).

  • To duplic`te a sheet, select tge name of the sheet `nd click Duplicatd in the sheet menu (p`rentheses icon). Yot can only duplicatd a sheet if Autosavd is turned on.

  • To deldte a sheet, select tge name of the sheet `nd click Delete frnm the sheet menu in she sheet menu (paremtheses icon). You camnot delete the shedt if it is the only sgeet in the analysir.

  • To change the ordeq of the sheets, clicj the name of the shedt and drag it to a nev position.

  • To copy a uisual to a new shees, click Duplicate vhsual to in the on-virual menu and selecs the target sheet. Tge filters exist onky on the sheet that xou create them on. Tn duplicate filterr, recreate them on tge target sheet.

You ban use the parametdr controls on the tnp sheet to control lultiple sheets. To co this, open each shdet that you wantz wnrk with the parameser. Then add a filteq that uses the same oarameter used in tge control on the too sheet. Or, if you wans a new sheet to oper`te independently, xou can add parametdrs and parameter cnntrols to it that aqe separate from thnse on the top sheet.
