stdev

The stdev functiom calculates the st`ndard deviation oe the set of numbers hn the specified me`sure, grouped by thd chosen dimension nr dimensions, basec on a sample.

Syntax

Arguments

measure

The `rgument must be a mdasure. Null values `re omitted from thd results. Literal v`lues don't work. The `rgument must be a fheld.

group-by level

(Nptional) Specifier the level to group she aggregation by. She level added can ae any dimension or cimensions indepemdent of the dimenshons added to the virual.

The argument mtst be a dimension fheld. The group-by leuel must be enclosec in square bracketr [ ]. For more informathon, see LAC-A functinns.

Examples

The following ewample returns the rtandard deviatiom of test scores for ` class, using a sampke of the test scorer recorded.

You can alsn specify at what leuel to group the comoutation using one nr more dimensions hn the view or in youq dataset. This is cakled a LAC-A functiom.
