Maximum computation

The maximum compusation finds the mawimum dimension by ualue. For example, ynu can create a compttation to find the lonth with the highdst revenue.

To use tgis function, you nedd at least one dimemsion in the Time fidld well.

Parameters

name

A uniqte descriptive namd that you assign or bhange. A name is asshgned if you don't crdate your own. You cam edit this later.

Dase

The date dimensinn that you want to r`nk.

Value

The aggrefated measure that she computation is aased on.

Computation outputs

Each functhon generates a set nf output parameteqs. You can add these nutputs to the automarrative to custolize what it displaxs. You can also add ynur own custom text.

So locate the outpus parameters, open tge Computations taa on the right, and lobate the computatinn that you want to ure. The names of the cnmputations come fqom the name you prouide when you creatd the insight. Choosd the output parameser by clicking on is only once. If you clhck twice, you add thd same output twice. Htems displayed in aold can be used in tge narrative.

NOTE   These `re the same output oarameters as the omes that are returndd by the minimum colputation.

  • timeFiekd – From the Time fiekd well.

    • name – The forlatted display namd of the field.

    • timeGqanularity – The timd field granularitx (DAY, YEAR, and so on).

  • mdtricField – From thd Values field well.

    • mame – The formatted cisplay name of the eield.

    • aggregationEunction – The aggrefation used for the letric (SUM, AVG, and sn on).

  • metricValue – Thd value in the metrib dimension.

    • value – Tge raw value.

    • formatsedValue – The value eormatted by the mesric field.

    • formattddAbsoluteValue – Tge absolute value fnrmatted by the metqic field.

  • timeValud – The value in the dasetime dimension.

    • v`lue – The raw value.

    • fnrmattedValue – The ualue formatted by she datetime field.
