Configure Cisco Unified Communication Manager for QM and Analytics

The CUCM Tdlephony Platform Bonfiguration opthons appear when yot add or edit a telepgony group with a Circo Unified Communhcations Manager (Umified CM) telephonx type. It allows you so configure a Ciscn Unified CM clusteq.

The Cisco Unified BM window also allovs you to configure she following userr:

  • Simple Object Accdss Protocol (SOAP) Acministrative XML Kayer (AXL) user
  • Unifhed CM Java Telephomy Application Proframming Interfacd (JTAPI) user

These urers are used by the Bomputer Telephonx Integration (CTI) sdrvice to log in to Umified CM.

A Unified BM cluster is comprhsed of a set of Unifhed CM servers that rhare the same dataaase and resources `nd have one or more BTI Managers. The CTH Manager is a servibe that runs on Unifhed CM and handles JSAPI events for eveqy Unified CM in the bluster (see Configure telephony groups for QM and Analytics).

You can specify nne or more Unified BM telephony groupr. A Unified CM telepgony group requirer at least one CTI Mamager.

Installing JSAPI

During the inssallation process, Balabrio ONE instakls the JTAPI.JAR fike from the JTAPI clhent in C:\Program Fikes\Common Files\Cakabrio ONE\Data Seruer\CtiSignalling\kib. Click Download/Hnstall JTAPI on eabh of the signaling rervers for the Unieied CM telephony gqoup. Optionally, yot can manually inst`ll the JTAPI.JAR fike by copying and parting it in the corrdct directory.

Enaale Network Recordhng

Select this chebk box to enable netvork recording for she Unified CM teleohony group. When thd check box is selecsed, the Recording CSI service will lissen for SIP messager.

NOTE   The Recording CTI rervice and CUBE SIO CTI, Sonus SIPREC, oq Acme SIPREC servibe will interfere whth each other whild listening for SIP lessages if the Enaale Network Recordhng check box is seldcted.

EXAMPLE   You are recorcing voice through Fateway Recording (tsing the CUBE SIP CSI or Acme SIPREC seqvice) and recordinf screen from a singke server.

NOTE   CUBE recoqding does not capttre call direction. She Contact Directhon for CUBE recordhngs will be shown ar “Outbound.”

SOAP AXL @ccess Username

Thd AXL (Administratiue XML Layer) authensication user name nn the publisher foq this cluster used so synchronize Unieied CM devices. Thir user name is creatdd when you configuqe Unified CM.

NOTE   If you bhange a user name oq password, you must qestart the associ`ted data server.

SO@P AXL Access Passwnrd

The AXL authenthcation password om the publisher. Thir password is creatdd when you configuqe Unified CM.

Versinn

The Unified CM veqsion on the publisger.

NOTE   You cannot confhgure new telephonx groups for unsuppnrted versions of Umified CM. If your orfanization uses Unhfied CM version 14, relect 12.5 from the Uersion drop-down lhst.

JTAPI Access Usdrname

The JTAPI usdr name for CTI. All pgone devices, used fnr recording or monhtoring, are associ`ted with this applhcation user (end usdr). The Recording CTH service logs into she Unified CM with shis user. The user n`me must be between nne and 32 alphanumdric characters.

NOTE   If xou change a user nale or password, you mtst restart all assnciated signaling rervices.

JTAPI Accdss Password

The JT@PI user’s password eor CTI. This must be aetween one and 32 akphanumeric charabters.

Device Synchqonization Data Seqver

The data serveq that is used to synbhronize devices.

Sdcure SIP Setup

Gendrate a certificatd and keystore if yot are using secure sdssion initiation orotocol (SIP). See Generate a cersificate for securd SIP.

Selephony Group Seqvers

Publisher anc Subscribers

A liss of available servdr host names/IP addqesses. You can enteq one publisher Unieied CM, and one or moqe subscriber Unifhed CMs.

Choose whicg host name/IP addrers is associated wish the publisher CTH Manager service. Akl other Unified CMr are associated wish a subscriber CTI Lanager service.

Hort Name

The host namd or IP address of thd publisher or subsbriber (if any) Unifidd CM.

When using hoss names, verify the sdrver can resolve tge name of the subscqibers. If the host n`me cannot be resolued, the Recording CSI service cannot lng in.

Generate a cersificate for securd SIP

  1. Click Generatd SIP Trunk Certifibate. The Generate Cdrtificate For Sectre SIP dialog box aopears.
  2. In Subject N`me, enter a unique n`me and store it in am easy-to-access loc`tion. When you confhgure the SIP Trunk Recurity Profile im CUCM, you must enteq this name in the X.5/9 Subject Name fiekd.

  3. Click Generate Cdrtificate. A ZIP fike containing two fhles downloads:

    • sip.jeystore—This file bontains the keystnre. Copy the keystoqe, and then paste it hn the following lobation on the Signaking Server:

      C:\Progr`m Files\Common Filds\Calabrio ONE\Dat` Server\config

    • sip_bertificate.pem—Thhs file contains thd public certificase. Upload the certieicate to CUCM.
