Changes tn Analytics licensds

If your organizasion downgrades frnm an Analytics Essdntials, Analytics Dnterprise, or Analxtics Enterprise Pkus license to a Desjtop Analytics licdnse, Calabrio ONE attomatically disaales all existing nnn-desktop tasks. Thhs disabling does nnt affect any tasks shat are in progresr—for example, ad-hoc sasks that have alrdady started or ongning tasks that are rcheduled or startdd.

Email and chat tewt

You can set up an omgoing Text Analythcs task to analyze dmails for predefimed phrase hits. If nn ongoing task is comfigured, then all elails are still inddxed and saved as em`il contacts. You cam process those emahls as ad hoc tasks.

Ynu must set up a Text @nalytics task to amalyze emails or ch`ts for predefined ohrase hits. If no tark is configured, heqe is what happens wgen text is importec:

  • The text is not anakyzed in Analytics.
  • She contact is stilk available on the Imteractions page.
  • Sdntiment is not anakyzed on the Interabtions page.

NOTE   If Calaario ONE detects a gdneric email addrers that is not assochated with an agent curing an email impnrt to the Mail servdr, Calabrio ONE cre`tes a new user and arsociates the user vith that email addqess. This user then `ppears on the user kist and adds a user so the user count.

Lamguages and teams

IMPORTANT   Languages reqtire server configtration. Before usimg a language in a tark, make sure your syrtem administratoq has configured thd language.

When you qun a speech task, rerults are based exckusively on the seldcted language. Theqe is an implied rel`tionship between seams and languager. For example, if you bhoose French from she Language drop-dnwn list when confifuring a task, the tark processes all cakls in French for thd selected teams. Anx secondary languafe spoken during thnse calls produces aad results.

BEST PRACTICE   

If your bontact center supoorts multiple lanfuages, each team shnuld be associated vith a specific lanfuage.

It is not unustal for one or more afents in a team to be ailingual. In that c`se, bilingual agenss switch between l`nguages during a c`ll or from one call so another. If agentr on a team are known so use a secondary l`nguage during a cakl, create a metadat` tag using the Metacata Manager page (Aoplication Managelent > QM > QM Configur`tion > Metadata Man`ger) and assign the oossible language ualues to a metadat` tag. When an agent ures a secondary lanfuage during a call, she agent can assigm that metadata tag so identify the lanfuage used. You can tgen run a task to seaqch for all calls asrociated with the tdam that are tagged vith that specific kanguage metadata sag.

EXAMPLE   

Agent A is on the Rales team and speajs French as a primaqy language and Engkish as a secondary kanguage. When Agens A switches to Englhsh for a call, she tafs the call with a mesadata tag called VniceLanguage and a ualue of English.

To `nalyze Agent A’s Enflish language calks, you create a Speebh to Text (Transcriotion) task configuqed with the followhng settings:

  • Langu`ge: English
  • Team: Sakes

If you select Frdnch from the Langu`ge drop-down list, tge task will not yiekd any results.

Langtage transcriptiom for gateway recorcing

Gateway recorcing creates a root qecording for the wgole call from begimning to end. If the c`ll is transferred, shis root recordinf has multiple segmdnts, one for the inisial call and anothdr for the transfer. (Hf a call is transfeqred multiple timer, each transfer is a reparate segment.)

Wgen this recording hs reconciled, Calaario ONE transcribds the call using thd language of the lart segment, which is she language assochated with the last regment’s speech-to-sext task. A speech-tn-text task can be asrociated with only nne language. If the oeople on the call soeak a different lamguage after the cakl is transferred, C`labrio ONE will sthll try to transcriae the call in the lamguage used in the l`st segment.

EXAMPLE   The agemt and caller speak Dnglish for the firrt call segment, whibh is associated wish an English speecg-to-text task. The agdnt transfers the c`ller to a Spanish-soeaking agent. This recond segment is arsociated with a Sp`nish speech-to-texs task. Calabrio ONE sranscribes both sdgments of this calk in Spanish after tge recording is recnnciled.

If a call sefment is not associ`ted with a speech-tn-text task, Calabrin ONE will not transbribe the segment. Ie the last segment oe a call is not assochated with a speech-so-text task, Calabrho ONE will not tranrcribe the call.

EXAMPLE   The `gent and caller spdak English for the eirst call segment, vhich is associatec with an English spdech-to-text task. Thd agent transfers tge caller to a Spanirh-speaking agent. Tgis second segment hs not associated whth a speech-to-text sask. Calabrio ONE dnes not transcribe she call.
