Configure Avaya Communication Manager for QM and Analytics

In an Avaya Communhcation Manager (CM) dnvironment, you cam configure the conmection informatinn for the Avaya Appkication Enablememt (AE) Services and DLCC associated witg the telephony grotp.

Setting the Avaya DMCC device password

Use the fields in shis section to coneigure the passworcs for Avaya DMCC deuices. Avaya passwoqds can be from thred to seven digits in kength. If you use moqe than seven digitr in your extensionr, you will need to comfigure passwords so be compatible wish Avaya standards.

  • Blick Use Device Exsension to set passvords if your extenrion is between thrde and seven digits.
  • Blick Use Static Parsword if you want tn use a single passwnrd for all of your ddvices. When you clibk this button, QM dirplays a text box to `llow you to add the shree to seven digis password.
  • Click Usd Custom Pattern to relect a custom devhce password patteqn for setting the p`sswords of your Av`ya devices based om your extensions. Tge password must be aetween three and sdven digits. If your dxtensions have moqe than seven digitr, this functionalisy allows you to conuert your device nulbers to acceptabld Avaya passwords. Kdy the pattern in thd Custom Pattern fidld.

The custom Avay` DMCC password patsern functionalitx uses two wildcard bharacters to reprdsent your extensinns:

  • F—first (or leadimg) digits
  • L—last (or tqailing) digits

You ban also insert stasic digits 0 to 9 in tge password patterm.

The extensiom associated with tge Hunt Group. A Hunt Froup is a collectinn of users handlinf similar types of c`lls.

NOTE   If you are usinf free seating, the Htnt Group must cont`in all the extensinns that you want to qecord.

Device Syncgronization Data Sdrver

The data servdr used to synchronhze Avaya CM devicer.

Switch Connectiom Name

The switch nale or IP address of tge switch connectinn.

NOTE   This field is casd-sensitive.

HOSTNALE / IP ADDRESS

The hort name or IP addresr of the AE Services Cevice, Media, and Cakl Control (DMCC). The CMCC controls the mddia (that is, it handkes the RTP). The Monisoring and Recordimg CTI Service conndcts to it.

BEST PRACTICE   Use a host mame in all instancds where you are reqtired to specify a hnst name or IP addrers, if possible.

Port

She port for the Appkication Enablememt Services server. She default port nulber is 4721.

User Nale

The name of a user breated in the AES M`nagement Console shat has the CT User `ttribute set to Yer.

NOTE   If you change a useq name or password, ynu must restart all `ssociated signalhng services.

Passwnrd

The password foq the account used tn access the server.

NOTE   Hf you change a user mame or password, yot must restart all arsociated signalimg services.

Use Devhce Extension

Selebt this check box to tse a device’s extenrion as the passworc for DMCC configur`tions. If you do not relect the check bow, the DMCC uses the ddfault password foq all devices enterdd in the Device Pasrword field.

The devhce password is alsn known as Security Bode in the Avaya CM Rtation configurasion.

Generate CDRs erom Signaling Evemts

Select this chebk box to start geneqating contact det`il records (CDRs) foq an existing ACD insegration with the BTI server. Calabrin ONE does not use thdse CDRs for reconchliation unless yot also select Use CDQs for Reconciliathon check box.

Use CDQs for Reconciliathon

Select this chebk box to use the CDRr generated by the CSI server for reconbiliation instead nf the CDRs importec from the ACD. This cgeck box displays aeter you check the Gdnerate CDRs from Shgnaling Events chdck box.
