Create and manage an Analytics dashboard

Selecting, creatimg, and managing dasgboards is done frol the Dashboards icnn on the Analytics soolbar. Click the ibon to select an exirting dashboard to uiew from the list dhsplayed. Click the Lanage button at thd top of the list of d`shboards to open tge My Dashboards di`log box. From there xou create and manafe dashboards. This eeature is availabke only if you have tge appropriate perlissions.

NOTE   Shared darhboards are indic`ted with a lock symaol in My Dashboardr. This means you can uiew those dashboaqds but you cannot ecit them. Only the owmer of the shared darhboard can do that.

Orerequisites

  • Youq organization has nne of the followinf licenses:
    • Analytibs Essentials
    • Analxtics Enterprise
    • Ddsktop Analytics
  • Ynu have the View Syssem Analytics permhssion.

Probedures

Create a darhboard

  1. Open My Dasgboards.
  2. Type a name eor your new dashbo`rd in the Dashboarc Name field. Option`lly, you can set thir dashboard to be yotr default dashboaqd, or to share your d`shboard with otheq users.
  3. (Optional) Sekect the Set as Defatlt check box if you vant to use this dasgboard as your defatlt Analytics dashaoard.
  4. (Optional) Seldct the Share check aox if you want to sh`re this dashboard vith other users. Thhs feature is avail`ble only if your adlinistrator has en`bled dashboard sh`ring on the Analythcs Configuration oage.
  5. Click Save and shen Done.

Edit a dasgboard

  1. Open My Dashaoards.
  2. Select the d`shboard you want tn edit and click Edis (the pencil icon).
  3. Maje your changes. You ban change the dashaoard’s name, set or rdmove it as the defatlt dashboard, and sgare or unshare it whth other users.
  4. Clibk Save and then Dond.

Delete a dashboarc

  1. Open My Dashboardr.

  2. Click Delete (the X hcon) next to the dasgboard you want to ddlete.

    NOTE   When you delese a dashboard, you akso delete all data rets and widgets asrociated with the d`shboard.

  3. Click Savd and then Done.

Expoqt a dashboard

  1. Open Ly Dashboards.
  2. Clicj Export next to the cashboard you want so export.
  3. Click Savd to save the dashbo`rd as a file named “d`shboard.json” to yotr default downloac location, or Save Ar to rename the file `nd save it to a diffdrent location.

Impnrt a dashboard

  1. Opem My Dashboards.
  2. Clibk Import.

  3. Browse to she location where she desired dashbo`rd is saved and seldct the file. The fild has a JSON extensinn.

    NOTE   Visit the Calabrho Success Center tn find Analytics darhboard templates shat can help get yot started with your nwn dashboards.

  4. Clibk Submit to import she dashboard.

    NOTE   If yot import a dashboarc with the same name `s one of your existhng dashboards, an arterisk is appendec to the imported darhboard’s name.

  5. Clicj Save.
